Mercury Systems is a technology company that makes the world a safer, more secure place. They are seeking a highly motivated Test Engineering Intern to join their Test Engineering team, providing hands-on experience in testing and verification of advanced aerospace and defense electronic products.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on hardware and firmware/software/systems
Document test results, defects, and anomalies in tracking systems
Support automation testing efforts and script development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, and qualification
Analyze test data and prepare reports on findings
Maintain and calibrate test equipment as needed
Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
Coursework or project experience in testing methodologies
Familiarity with programming languages (Python, C#, Bash, Java, or similar languages)
Ability to work both independently and in team environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens
Preferred
Experience with test automation frameworks
Knowledge of version control systems (Git, BitBucket)
Understanding of product development lifecycles
Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Previous internship or co-op experience in engineering
