RTX is an aerospace and defense company offering engineering co-op opportunities focused on complex hardware and software projects. The Test Engineering Co-Op will support Project Engineers in developing and maintaining avionics test solutions, developing software and tools, managing project tasks, and presenting technical information to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility for this position is to assist Project Engineers in developing and maintaining test solutions. The student who fills this position must have strong project management, process compliance and problem-solving skills. This position will heavily utilize software development and process improvement skills
You will contribute to the success of a cross-functional team
You will assist Project Engineers in managing the projects
You will develop software and tools to improve process efficiency
You will lead and manage project related tasks
You will prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management and customers
You will plan and manage tasks effectively
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
Experience with C++ and C#
Experience in AI/Data Analytics
