American Tower is a global digital infrastructure company focused on connectivity and opportunity. They are seeking a Technology Enablement Intern to contribute to R&D projects that enhance asset interaction and operational efficiency through data-driven software solutions.
Responsibilities
Contribute to R&D projects that deliver new, data‑driven software solutions enhancing how American Tower interacts with its assets
Build interactive models and visualizations of ATC assets using modern tools and techniques
Ensure data quality and scalability by collaborating with peers and mentors on processing and analysis workflows
Explore drone and ground-collected data use cases to improve operations; help shape scopes and requirements under guidance
Document, demo, and iterate on your work, incorporating feedback from mentors and stakeholders
Continuously learn and improve, taking initiative to explore new technologies and share ideas
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a 4–5‑year CSEE degree program (Computer Science, Software/Systems/EE or related)
Proficiency in one or more of Python, JavaScript, or Java
Foundational understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Ability to work independently and within small, cross‑functional teams
Strong written and verbal skills; able to present ideas clearly and effectively
Strong prioritization and time management in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
Focus in cloud computing and/or AI/ML preferred
Academic Standing: GPA 3.5+ preferred
AI/ML Exposure: Experience through coursework and/or projects preferred
