The Software Configuration Manager Summer Internship role involves performing Software Configuration Management tasks and executing SCM activities under supervision, while ensuring compliance with BAE Systems policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform Software Configuration Management (SCM) tasks including the fundamentals of Configuration Management: identification, change management, status accounting, audit and verification.
Execute SCM activities per the Configuration Data Management Plan and BAE Systems policies and procedures.
Manage software repositories using designated SCM tools for software version and baseline control, using BAE Systems procedures.
Perform and document required software builds as directed to ensure reproducible software configuration baselines and deliveries.
Execute release and change control functions in order to ensure software product integrity.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
Comply with policies and procedures to accurately execute the role.
Qualification
Required
Pursing a Bachelor's Degree
Proficient with Microsoft Office
US citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance
Preferred
Active Secret clearance
