HARMAN is a company that designs and engineers connected products and solutions for various industries. They are seeking a Summer Intern - Software Engineer to develop and maintain software platforms for next-generation audio and video systems, collaborating closely with team members to deliver successful products.

Responsibilities

Participate in developing, deploying & maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video & control systems.
Participate in the lifecycle of a software product including Requirement Management, Design, Development, Testing, Integration & Release Management.
Be part of a process-oriented culture for a team developing software products using agile methodologies.

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
Experience in developing software applications in C++ and or C#.
Be willing to work in an office in Richardson, TX.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
Must provide full work availability from June 2, 2025, through August 22, 2025, and be able to work 40 hours per week depending on workload.

Preferred

Experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
Knowledge of Angular is highly preferred.
Knowledge of QT is highly preferred.
