They are seeking a Summer Intern - Software Engineer to deepen their understanding of .NET Core and Angular while participating in software development discussions and implementing solutions on real projects in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Deepen your understanding of .NET Core and Angular
Participate in software development discussions and implement solutions on real projects that will impact production
Work within a team to produce well-rounded solutions
Participate in an Agile environment to understand and practice key Agile principles
Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
Qualification
Required
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering
Understanding of basic programming techniques
Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly
An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about software and the Allegion business practices
Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion's business and customers
Preferred
Junior and Senior applicants preferred
Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Indiana or open to relocating to Indiana
