Assurant is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for its 12-week summer internship program. The intern will gain hands-on experience in agile application development, software engineering, code quality, and automation while collaborating with technical teams and mentors.
Responsibilities
Plan, Develop, and Support applications in various languages and disciplines
Collaborate with product owners, engineers, designers and business partners to ensure that development work will meet the needs and expectations of the business
Research, solve for, and engage others as necessary to design solutions that will result in the desired business outcome
Ability to work and think independently
Work through and aid in production issues for applications supported by the department or functional area
Prepare documentation on work produced to ensure a smooth handoff to other team members, as needed

Please have coursework or example code relevant to the below areas
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems or a related program at an accredited university
Interns will have at least one semester remaining following the summer internship
You have an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029
