The internship role involves gaining hands-on experience in hardware testing and data systems engineering, validating RGB and LiDAR sensors, and contributing to React-based web applications for testing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing test plans for RGB and LiDAR sensor hardware and firmware updates
Support validation testing of sensor-based electro-mechanical devices and components
Help maintain and enhance our React web applications that interface with testing systems
Contribute to front-end development for test data visualization and reporting dashboards
Assist with calibration testing procedures for RGB and LiDAR sensing equipment
Support both hardware testing operations and web-based test management systems
Document testing procedures, results, and web application functionality
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an accredited, non-profit, in-person Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics), or related technical field graduating between December 2025 and June 2027
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Basic understanding of hardware testing methodologies
Working knowledge of programming languages and concepts (Python, C/C++ preferred)
Familiarity with web development fundamentals and React.js framework
Programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend technologies (Python, Node.js)
Interest in test automation, hardware testing, and software development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication abilities
Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
Preferred
Knowledge of test automation frameworks for sensor validation, particularly optical sensors
Familiarity with data analysis tools for processing sensor data
Prior work with React.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data fetching in web applications
Knowledge of test automation frameworks for both hardware and software
Understanding of general manufacturing processes
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Background in computer vision or point cloud processing
