They are seeking a talented Robotics Engineering intern to contribute to their Active Safety Integration PreDev team, focusing on crafting algorithms and software for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). The role involves building simulation environments, creating scenarios, and designing software tools for testing and evaluation.
Responsibilities
Build Simulation environment in Carla for testing and synthetic data generation
Create simulation scenarios to cover safety cases such as EuroNCAP Scenario
Create sensors plugin for Radar and Camera
Design and implement software tools to support testing and evaluation in Simulation
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
Relevant research / project experience in one or more of the following areas: Simulation, multi-object tracking; sensor fusion; machine learning; mapping & localization; motion planning; controls
Experience with software development in C++, Python (using OOP concepts)
Experience with robotics middleware (ROS, ROS2, etc.)
Experience with modern software tools and design patterns
Preferred
Demonstrable experience with Carla simulation environment
Experience working with data from one or more sensors (radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonics, etc.)
