The company is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support the development and quality assurance of embedded software for next-generation two-way radio products, including designing, implementing, testing, and resolving software defects.
Responsibilities
Work in an Agile/Scrum team to analyse, design, implement, and test new two-way radio products and features
Teamwork in a multi-site, world-wide development environment
Finding, tracking, and repairing RTOS device software defects
Create and execute unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance tests
Execute test cases, analyse results and report all detected issues/defects
Collaborate with other team members and test & engineering managers
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, BIS or a related field
Preferred
Experience in C/C++ is a plus
Experience in real-time embedded software is a plus
Strong communication and problem solving skills is a plus
Experience using version control; Git is a plus
Experience with Linux is a plus
Experience with embedded development/debug tools (such as emulators/JTAG, etc.) is a plus
