The Software Engineering Intern will work with the Software R&D team to develop design automation and high-performance computing applications using Python, REST APIs, SQL, and existing software APIs.
Responsibilities
Creating custom Python applications
Development of integrated GUI’s
Software API call analysis and benchmarking
Writing and maintaining unit tests
Determining operational practicality
Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems, or issues
Planning and writing efficient, well-structured code following documented best practices
Qualification
Required
Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program
* Degree: Computer Science (College of Engineering)
* Experience with SQL databases
* Good Python/C++ programming capabilities
* Familiarity with version control utilizing Git
* Strong familiarity with the use of IDEs for development and troubleshooting
* Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
* Strong understanding of algorithms and data-structures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated, independent, proactive, detail oriented, and responsible team-player
