The Software Engineering Intern will contribute to software design, development, and testing while collaborating with senior engineers, participating in Agile workflows, improving engineering productivity, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software features within our engineering team
Collaborate with senior engineers to solve real-world technical challenges using modern development practices
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups to gain hands-on experience with Agile workflows
Build tools, automate workflows, or improve existing systems to enhance engineering productivity
Assist in troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes, and documenting solutions
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
* Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
* Fundamental programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript)
Preferred
* Experience with Git, GitHub, or similar version control systems
* Familiarity with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, or tooling used by the team (we can customize this list)
* Prior internship experience, personal projects, or contributions to open-source software
