The Software Engineering Intern will design, code, test, document, and deliver software functionality while coordinating with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to support successful software integration.
Responsibilities
Work in a team environment to design, code, test, document, and deliver new/modified functionality
Coordinate with developers, testers, release engineers, and engineers from other disciplines (e.g., Systems, Hardware) to ensure successful integration with other software components
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session
Preferred
Experience with C or similar programming languages, structured programming, and software development lifecycle
Experience with Unix/Linux-based development environment
Knowledge of software testing and source code debugging
