Parker Hannifin is a leader in developing innovative solutions for the aviation industry. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will support the design and improvement of engineering products while gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in various engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
Acquiring knowledge of various engineering department’s operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.
Observing work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments.
Using engineering skills to conduct analysis and modeling, engage in product design, develop and execute testing procedures, and participate in facilities engineering work.
Maintaining communication with program coach/mentor to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.
Attending related training and applying it in work assignments.
Performing other related responsibilities.
Qualification
Required
Being enrolled in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program in a related engineering field such as: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering
Ability to work effectively in a variety of engineering assignments
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
