The Software Engineering Intern will work alongside senior engineers to build resilient systems, design, test, and deploy features, and apply AI-driven development practices. The role also includes technical workshops, demonstrations, and collaboration across global technology teams.

Pair directly with Engineer to design, test, and ship high-impact features powering WEX’s global financial technology platform

Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in your penultimate (second-to-last) year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Solid foundation in modern object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go)
Passion for leveraging generative AI, LLM tooling, and modern developer utilities to accelerate workflow and problem-solving
Strong logical reasoning, curiosity, and a drive to understand system design from first principles
Proactive communication skills, eager to seek and integrate direct technical feedback
