Kratos Defense & Security Solutions provides mission critical engineering, IT services, and war fighter solutions. They are looking for Engineering & Cyber Security Students for their Summer Internship Program to work on challenging technical problems and gain hands-on experience with experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
Work on customer projects, creating solutions that will be used in real world applications.
Perform system design, code development in C++, Python, VHDL, and other coding languages, Linux, Cybersecurity tools, as well as a variety of other challenging tasks.
Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
Qualification
Required
Coursework towards Bachelor of Science Computer Science/ Master of Science Computer Science, Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering/ Master of Science Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science Computer Engineering/ Master of Science Computer Engineering (or related engineering major), with strong GPA
Minimum 2 years of completed coursework
Experience in real-time, embedded software design with an emphasis on C++ and/or VHDL/Verilog
Experience creating and delivering complex technical presentations
Currently enrolled in an engineering program. (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Development)
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required
Preferred
Communication theory or Digital Signal Processing knowledge a plus
