Henry Schein is a provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, medical and animal health. They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work closely with a mentor on products and tools for their teams and customers, focusing on web services, RESTful APIs, and full-stack solutions.
Responsibilities
Works with leadership to coordinate efforts and resolve issues
Works with other department prioritizing work assignments and act as a liaison with other departments
Performs a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in a University
Basic ability to problem solve/diagnose in a technical space
Basic knowledge of an applicable programming language
Solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented software design
Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to plan and arrange activities
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
