Boston Scientific is a leader in medical science, committed to solving important health industry challenges. They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to help develop applications using web development technologies and gain a fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Help develop applications using Web development technologies.
Perform programming tasks, such as development of front-end, back-end Web-based applications, and Web/Internet services.
Challenging development and test assignments will be offered versus simple tasks – you will be integrated into a development team.
Gain a fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Qualification
Required
Must graduate between Fall 2026 – Spring 2027.
Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or a Graduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th, 2026.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN, Boston Scientific Corporate location.
Preferred
Understands Object-Oriented Design and Analysis (OOD and OOA).
Proficient in C# or Java.
HTML5, CSS, Angular, Javascript, JQuery.
Skilled in SQL, JSON, YAML, XML.
Knowledge of version control Git and web service development.
Proficient in Visual Studio, Eclipse, or similar IDE.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
