Badger Meter is a leading global water technology company focused on preserving and protecting water resources. They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to software development, coding, debugging, and collaborating across departments to enhance existing software applications.
Responsibilities
Software development & design, testing, and implementation
Knowledgeable of software development concepts, process, and tools
Maintaining and upgrading existing software applications
Work on assigned tickets and submit pull requests for code review
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Update and maintain technical documentation
Participate in team standups and technical sessions
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
First preference to CA students
Sophomore or Junior status (graduating in 2027 or 2028)
No sponsorship provided (we cannot accept OPT, H1B, etc students at this time)
Intermediate computer/technical skills in Microsoft products
Programming experience in Python, SQL, and/or other languages
Understanding of version control (Git/GitHub)
