RTX provides internships, co-ops, and full-time careers focused on aerospace and defense technologies. The Software Engineering Co-op will design, develop, debug, test, and verify flight-critical software while gaining experience with aerospace software development, Head-Up Displays, and camera systems.
Responsibilities
You will design and develop software from functional and interface requirements
You will debug flight critical software and perform associated system integration activities in a laboratory or a simulation environment
You will create and or maintain software component unit tests
You will develop requirement-based test procedures
You will verify software performance through structural coverage analysis
You will execute test procedures in support of formal software verification efforts
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
Experience in programming languages such as C, C#, Python, Perl
