The Software Engineering Co-op will work with systems and software engineers to design, develop, and test software features integrated into helicopters and planes, while building knowledge of software engineering and flight management systems.
Responsibilities
Work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for software solutions that are integrated into helicopters and planes
Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers
Travel (domestic and international <10%) as needed
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python
