Viasat is a global communications company that offers satellite services, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for their Service Activation and Provisioning team. The intern will be involved in developing software solutions and creating reusable components for terminal integration, contributing to a streamlined user experience across various services.
Responsibilities
Developing software that is able to scale across multiple different terminals and terminal types
Creating new products, services and tests that will allow us to achieve our goal of reusable components that adhere to our terminal communication standards
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math & Computer Science, and/or a related field
To be eligible for this position your final graduation date must fall between December 2025 and June 2026
Previous experience with cloud technology, automation, machine learning, big data, full stack, embedded, applications, and/or Front-end development
US citizenship is required for this position
You must be available for the full duration of the 12-13 week internship program
Preferred
Previous internship experience in a software development and/or test related area
Experience with networking: UDP, TCP/IP, AMQP, DHCP, DNS, and/or REST
Experience with development tools: Amazon Web Services, Git, Artifactory, DataDog, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Linux
