Parsons Corporation is a leader in developing innovative solutions for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 who is pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field, and will be responsible for contributing to embedded hardware and software solutions.
Responsibilities
Must be pursuing a degree in computer science or related field (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Sciences)
Completed at least two years of an undergraduate curriculum and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience developing software applications
Must be comfortable taking the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
Good interpersonal and communication skills in spoken English
Must be a US Citizen
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement. Candidates are expected to possess a positive team-first attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong initiative

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position
Preferred
Experience with Python and C/C++ programming languages
Experience with agile software development techniques
Experience with IDE tools such as VS Code
Knowledge of CM tools such as Git
