Schneider Electric is looking for a self-driven student pursuing a degree in Computer Science for a 12-week summer intern position as a Software Engineering Intern. The ideal candidate will assist in developing innovative AI solutions and tools, while gaining experience with the Triconex Safety system.
Responsibilities
Assist the Triconex team to evaluate new technologies
Get familiar with the Triconex Safety system
Develop tools and innovative solutions that can extend the Triconex software portfolio
Design, prototype and analyze new software solutions and existing legacy applications
Demonstrate weekly progress
Write design proposals and present to the leadership team
Qualification
Required
Current university student pursuing a degree in Computer Science
Ability to demonstrate strong mathematical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge and experience with Python and able to demonstrate with individual projects that you completed
Skills to be involved in special research project based on machine-learning and data modeling
Passionate and enthusiastic to learn new tools and techniques
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis
Preferred
Knowledge of C/C++, Git and Matlab is preferred
