They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2025 to be part of a team of engineers working on Missile Warning Systems, providing real-world experience and mentorship throughout the internship.
Responsibilities
Previous interns supported real design and build of capability as part of an integrated engineering and development team, wrote user interface and software that is in use today, and supported our cybersecurity strategy.
In addition to these kinds of tasks, other work assignments, depending on ability and interest, may include developing algorithms and computer models, supporting the software design, benchmarking hardware performance, building user interfaces, and performing software tests.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Must be sophomore, junior or senior class level, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Must be experienced with Python, and Java.
Must be available to support full-time internship this summer onsite at our Colorado Springs, CO location.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement.
An entrepreneurial, motivated, self-starter attitude is required.
US citizenship is required, as well as eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred
Experience in one of the following is helpful, but not required: algorithm development, game theory, cybersecurity, autonomy, simulations or communication protocols.
