As a Software Engineer Intern, you will support the development and maintenance of software for prize claim processing, gaining hands-on experience in an agile team environment.
Responsibilities
Support enhancements and updates to prize claiming applications
Contribute to front‑end, back‑end, full‑stack, or quality engineering work
Participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and code reviews
Write clean, maintainable code following team standards
Assist with testing, including basic test cases or automated tests
Document code changes and technical processes
Help troubleshoot issues and support root‑cause analysis
Follow incident, change, and release management processes
Participate in mentoring and professional development activities
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
Understanding of core programming concepts and object‑oriented principles
Familiarity with basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Git or other version control tools
Exposure to agile development methodologies
Basic understanding of APIs or RESTful services
Familiarity with modern UI or backend frameworks
