The Software Engineer Intern will support the Latitude Server Subsystem team by developing automated testing systems, integrating AI-driven approaches into test frameworks, simulating testing environments, and collaborating on automated test solutions.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and building systems that assist in creating automated test scripts leveraging AI and machine learning tools
Support the integration of AI-driven approaches into existing test frameworks
Work with the subsystem team to find and implement engineering solutions to simulate testing systems to eliminate dependencies on real-time environments
Collaborate with engineers to analyze requirements and design effective automated test solutions
Qualification
Required
* Previous experience working with Java, Python, Data-Structures, Web frameworks, Databases
* Familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI, with hands-on experience applying these technologies through academic projects or previous internship experience
* Current rising junior (grad dates between Dec 2027 - May 2029)
* Working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering
* Must be able to start internship on May 17th or 24th, 2027 and work for 12 weeks
* Must have reliable transportation to/from work
Preferred
* AI: Deep learning models, LLM, ML basics, RAG, Agentic applications
* Medical industry experience
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams
* Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions
