Cisco develops, manufactures, and sells networking hardware, telecommunications equipment, and other technology services and products. They are seeking a Software Engineer II (Co-Op) to drive next-gen software innovations and ensure programs are user-friendly and efficient.
Responsibilities
Develop software and tools in support of many of our high-impact technology platforms such as operating systems, networks, databases and more.
Ensure all of our programs are easy to use and bug free.
Watch for hardware compatibility while potentially influencing design.
Apply your passion for problem-solving to create innovative software solutions.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a full-time graduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
Up-to-date on programming and scripting languages: C/C++, Python, Java
Hands on QA, Testing, and/or Debugging skills
Preferred
Knowledge of Linux, Networking concepts, OS fundamentals, Embedded Development, and/or ML
Experience with Databases, Web Application Development, and Web Services
Knowledge in Computer Networking and/or Cybersecurity
Knowledge of Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
