The company is seeking a Software Development Intern to contribute to software projects by writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications while collaborating with experienced engineers and product teams.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior developers and product managers to understand project requirements and contribute to technical design discussions
Write, test, and debug clean, efficient, and well-documented code in various programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python)
Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications, features, and tools
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and learning from peers
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Learn and apply new technologies, development methodologies, and best practices
Engage in team meetings, stand-ups, and other collaborative activities
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Expected graduation date of Fall 2027, Spring 2028, Fall 2028 or Spring 2029
Solid understanding of fundamental computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python)
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Prior internship experience or personal projects demonstrating software development aptitude is a plus
