Leidos is seeking a university student to join their Orlando-based team as a Software Development Intern supporting application integration efforts. This internship offers the opportunity to work with experienced software engineers and develop tools for connecting large enterprise systems while gaining experience with industry-standard HR and ERP systems and modern AI/ML toolsets.
Responsibilities
Support software development teams in writing, debugging, and analyzing code in a variety of settings (web code, API interfaces, data integration pipelines, test code, and more)
Research new tools, techniques, code libraries, etc. to discover what they do, how they are used, and what potential value they may provide the organization
Develop prototype applications to demonstrate new technologies
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university
Strong interest in or exposure to software or database development
Familiarity with one or more modern programming languages (Python, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.)
Preferred
Coursework, projects or hands-on experience in areas such as: API Development
