Leidos is a leader in naval simulation, training, and analysis for the US Navy. They are seeking energetic and motivated Software Developer Co-ops to develop system software and back-end solutions primarily in C++ within a Linux environment. This position offers co-op students invaluable real-world experience on advanced military training systems.
Responsibilities
Develop system software, numerical models, or back-end development.
Work in a Linux environment and write primarily in C++.
Contribute to systems that will be used throughout the U.S. Navy.
Qualification
Required
You MUST be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
have at least a 3.2 GPA
be able to demonstrate solid C++ software development skills
You MUST be available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op
You MUST have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance
Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance
candidates must be dedicated to producing quality work results
must be extremely attentive to detail
