They are seeking Software Development Interns to join their team, specializing in back-end, front-end, and full stack development, to contribute to innovative digital solutions in the insurance sector.
Responsibilities
Work with the development team to coordinate the development of new features and resolve issues
Learn how to design, code, and test new features of our policy management system
Discover what it's like to work as a Developer and how technological advances are changing the way insurance companies do business
Explore new ideas and learn best practices in a fun and inclusive environment
Participate in the development of Client Centre APIs in Java, Kotlin, and Nest
Adjust unit tests to ensure the quality of the new development
Adjust the technical documentation supporting the code
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a field related to software development, computer science, or any other related field
Have at least one prior internship in a similar or related role
Understand the software development lifecycle and be curious about continuous delivery pipelines and testing
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning
Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology
Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility, a team player with a good sense of leadership
Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Summer Term from May 4 to August 21
Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Fall 2026 following your internship
Be bilingual for all Quebec roles (English and French)
Preferred
Experience in a financial services company (an asset)
Technical skills required: Java/Kotlin, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Maven, Git and MongoDB/Oracle
Technical skills required: Java/Kotlin, React, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring MVC, and microservices. For Front-End: Angular/React and typescript
