The role involves designing and building automation frameworks and requires a passion for clean code and software quality.
Responsibilities
Designing and building cutting-edge automation frameworks using industry-leading tools
Writing clean, simple, and efficient test automation code for APIs (RESTful services) and/or User Interfaces
Converting user stories and requirements into detailed, executable test cases and scenarios
Qualification
Required
Proven foundational knowledge and experience in Java development (academic, project, or bootcamp), with exposure to developing applications using the Spring Boot framework
A solid grasp of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts—you know how to write simple, modular, and maintainable code
Good knowledge of SQL and the ability to interact with relational databases (like MariaDB). You understand how to verify data integrity
A true passion for writing clean, simple, and efficient test automation code for APIs (RESTful services) and/or User Interfaces
The ability to convert user stories and requirements into detailed, executable test cases and scenarios
Understanding of modern software quality principles, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
Preferred
Basic exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like ReactJS is a plus for tackling full-stack automation challenges
Any experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber) or version control systems like Git is highly valued
Exposure to other programming languages like Python for scripting or tooling is a bonus, showing a quick learning ability
