SAP is a global leader in enterprise application software, and they are seeking an intern to join their Industry Product Engineering team focused on Life Sciences. The role involves building and delivering software products, designing AI-driven applications, and collaborating with various teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Build and deliver software products for the Life Sciences industry on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
Design and develop AI‑driven applications and agents using SAP AI technologies, including SAP Business AI and SAP Joule
Collaborate closely with architects and engineers across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), contributing to design, development, testing, maintenance and quality assurance
Demonstrate a strong learning mindset with a willingness to take ownership, assume responsibility, and deliver results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline; a Master's degree in Computer Science is highly preferred
Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's or JD/PhD program
Strong technical proficiency in one or more programming languages or platforms, including Java, Node.js, Python, ABAP, HTML5, and JavaScript
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and hands-on experience in their design and development
Solid knowledge of Large Language Model (LLM) consumption for building AI-powered applications
Familiarity with source control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Experience in software development using cloud-native technologies across IaaS providers including SAP, AWS, Azure, and GCP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Willing to travel as needed to support our product development (Max 10-20%)
