They are seeking an R&D Software Engineer Intern to test and implement functionality for precision measurement instruments, deploy software packages, and support cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Test and implement functionality which directly interfaces with Keysight precision measurement instruments.
Test and deploy software packages to customers and internal organizations.
Apply software principles to address challenges encountered by cross-functional engineering teams.
Write documentation used by internal and external groups.
Qualification
Required
In Progress B.S or M.S. in CPE/CS
Proficiency C++, C#, or Java
Strong understanding of OOP paradigms
Data structures and algorithms
Linux/Unix Environment
Thoughtful Documentation Skills
Git version control
Preferred
C# and Python familiarity
Design patterns, such as Singleton, Observable, and Factory
Linear algebra and calculus
Exposure to CI/CD technologies
Experience interfacing with instruments using SCPI
Be able to work for 6 to 9 months on a full-time, in person basis
