Procurement Intern

KION Group is excited to welcome the next wave of innovators to their Future Talent Program Internship at Dematic. This internship is designed for full-time students eager to kick-start their careers by participating in team-based challenges and gaining hands-on experience in AI and automation within the Procurement domain.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of AI and automation prototypes for Procurement use cases (copilots, analytics, RPA)
  • Assist with data preparation, testing, validation, and documentation
  • Collaborate with Procurement, IT, and AI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Contribute to building an internal developer platform that enables secure, scalable deployment of code-based AI systems, in collaboration with the Dematic AI Software team in Atlanta
  • Participate in various Future Talent Programming events, such as weekly professional development sessions, a team-based innovation challenge and endless development opportunities

Qualification

Required

  • You must be a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Currently a sophomore, junior, or senior
  • Support development of AI and automation prototypes for Procurement use cases (copilots, analytics, RPA)
  • Assist with data preparation, testing, validation, and documentation
  • Collaborate with Procurement, IT, and AI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Key project: Contribute to building an internal developer platform that enables secure, scalable deployment of code-based AI systems, in collaboration with the Dematic AI Software team in Atlanta
  • Interest in AI/ML, automation, and modern developer tools
  • Programming or data analysis experience is a plus
  • Participate in various Future Talent Programming events, such as weekly professional development sessions, a team-based innovation challenge and endless development opportunities
