They are seeking a Manufacturing Software Engineering Intern to design, develop, and test software systems that control machines to streamline the manufacturing process while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and test software systems that control machines to streamline manufacturing process
Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide project updates and deliverables
Present the projects involved and lessons learned to the organization
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering or related degree-seeking program at the Bachelor's or Master's level
Hands-on experience on at least one modern programming language (C#/Python preferred)
Enthusiasm and passion for automation
Hands-on, fast learner, willing to work on both software and hardware
Team player, good oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical, time management skills
Preferred
Familiar with OOP-OOD concepts, modern programming languages
Familiarity with software frameworks, tools, data engineering
Experience with hardware control, firmware, automation
Can identify and debug software and hardware issues in complex software systems
