MGIC is a private insurance company offering insurance on real estate mortgages, and they are seeking a Low-Code Developer Intern. This role involves participating in low-code application development and collaborating within an Agile Scrum team to develop software while troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Responsibilities
Participate in Low Code application development.
Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team to develop software using technologies like Java, JavaScript, REST and SQL.
Collaborate using GIT to track source code changes.
Troubleshoot and resolve software related issues and maintain code using unit testing.
Work with business analysts to gather requirements.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related degree.
Hours: Summer are full-time and could potentially lead to a year-round internship.
Collaborative and self-motivated with a desire to learn and adopt new technologies.
Demonstrated creative thinking, proactive in seeking additional work and strong initiative.
Excellent problem solving, written, and oral communication skills.
Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity.
Ability to work within a team environment.
