Generac is seeking an IT Intern-Web Development to support CMS web development, maintenance, and troubleshooting while gaining hands-on experience. The role involves coding, design, and improving digital platforms to ensure optimal user experience.
Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance – coding, updating, and maintaining website – front-end and back-end
Help integrate APIs and third-party services
Troubleshooting & Debugging – Identify and resolve technical issues to improve functionality – front end and back-end
Collaboration & Team Support – Work with developers, designers, and content teams on web projects
Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to stay aligned with team goals
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
Experience with coding or programming (.Net)
Technical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Effective communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Data Science or IT
Prior experience with coding projects, website design, or technical troubleshooting
Basic web development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Familiarity with web frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
Knowledge of project/backlog management systems (ADO, Jira)
Knowledge of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards
