The Intern in Software Engineering will perform a variety of tasks including technical R&D, software design, development, and testing while working independently.
Responsibilities
Candidates will be asked to perform (potentially) a wide variety of tasks including,but not limited to, technical R&D around new technologies not yet used by the product, basic software design, development, and testing
While goals and guidance will be provided with regular check ins, the candidate will need to work independently on a day-to-day basis
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a four-year university degree, preferably in a Computer Science or related field
Prior backend and front-end coding experience with modern software languages is expected - Java and JavaScript is a plus
Basic familiarity with utilizing open-source libraries and APIs is expected
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and is self-motivated
