WEX Inc. is a global commerce platform that has been simplifying business operations for over 40 years. They are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience, contribute to impactful projects, and collaborate with experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Work on a project that directly contributes to our product roadmap and business goals.
Collaborate with experienced software engineers to design, develop, and test new features.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
Present your project and share your learnings with the team and company leadership.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and will have completed at least your Sophomore year of school at the start of the internship.
You have some experience with at least one programming language like Java, Python, C#/.NET or JavaScript.
You have some experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and SSO (SAML, OAuth)
You have a solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
You are a creative problem-solver with a strong desire to learn.
You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
You are passionate about technology and building innovative solutions.
