Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. They are seeking an Intern Embedded Software Engineer to assist the engineering organization while gaining hands-on experience in developing software-based tools and embedded firmware for electric vehicle products.
Responsibilities
Assist the engineering organization while growing your knowledge base through hands-on experience
Interface with engineers to develop software-based tools and embedded firmware that strengthen technical support for Parker's electric vehicle products
Support firmware feature development, building and improving lab tools, testing and developing documentation
Other duties may be assigned as needed based on your skills and organizational requirements
Qualification
Required
Student entering Junior or Senior year of school in the Fall of 2026
Student majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related major
Experience with embedded C/C++ firmware development. Experience with Python or equivalent programming language
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated proficiency with debugging and validation tools for embedded systems
Working knowledge of serial interfaces and embedded communication protocols
Working knowledge of source control and collaborative development practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude with passion for growth and a can-do approach to obstacles
Ability to work in a flexible and changing environment
