Synopsys Inc is driving technology innovations that shape the way we live and connect. They are seeking an R&D Verification Intern to enhance software quality through hands-on testing and validation, collaborating with development and testing teams globally.
Responsibilities
Test and validate new software features as they are being developed, focusing on physics features and product workflows
Assist in creating test specifications and documentation to support the quality assurance process
Develop automated tools and tests to improve team productivity and streamline testing procedures
Participate in acceptance testing and collaborate with global team members to ensure product quality
Apply your engineering skills to conduct both manual and automated testing of physics features implemented in the product
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
Enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship (must be entering their third year or beyond in their program)
Experience with CAD software or simulation software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, or ANSYS Fluent
Programming experience (Python preferred, but other languages welcomed)
Exposure to FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
Preferred
Knowledge or experience using Ansys products
Exposure to programming using C++, C#
Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate challenges, discuss roadblocks, and collaborate effectively
Documentation skills to support testing processes and team workflows
