SES Satellites is seeking an Intern for their Aviation Software Engineering team. The role involves assisting with the development of features for their Virtual Terminal and supporting the automation test framework.
Responsibilities
Week 1-3: Work with team to understand virtual stack development environment and Continuous Integration and Deployment strategies
Week 4-6: Work with team to understand on virtual stack development and assist with analysis of automation test issues seen by teams
Week 7-10: Continued work with team on virtual stack development and work with a scrum team on new feature development which utilizes the virtual environment
Week 10-12: Wrap up final development work and present progress and findings to peer developers
Qualification
Required
Part-time or full-time students who have completed 24+ credit hours (rising sophomores/juniors/seniors) and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university; Part-time or full-time students enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university
Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and maturity in the workplace
Effective communicator in both written and spoken English
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in use of MSOffice Suite
Preferred
3.0 GPA or above preferred
Strong desire to watch YouTube videos of airplanes taking off and landing
