They are seeking a proactive and technically curious intern to join their Equipment Engineering Group, where the intern will contribute to the development of custom equipment and software solutions for manufacturing medical devices.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop innovative software applications that support manufacturing equipment and processes
Design, code, and test PC-based interfaces to hardware that are intuitive, well-documented, and production-ready
Develop applications using C#, WPF, VB.NET, or Java within the .NET Framework or .NET Core environment
Maintain and update electrical schematics and documentation for manufacturing systems and tooling
Assist in troubleshooting software and electrical issues on the production floor, contributing to rapid problem resolution and system uptime
Design robust, scalable systems with long-term maintainability and supportability in mind
Use version control tools such as Git or TFS to manage code and collaborate effectively with engineering peers
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment performance, usability, and reliability
Contribute to a dynamic engineering culture that values innovation, quality, and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
Current rising junior or rising senior (grad dates between Dec 2026 - May 2028), graduating senior (May 2026 grad) continuing on to grad school, or current grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify.
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
Must be able to start internship on May 18th or 26th, 2026 and work for 12 weeks
Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: C#, WPF, VB.NET, or Java
Familiarity with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core for application development
Preferred
Experience with version control tools such as Git or TFS in collaborative software projects
Experience using Visual Studio as a primary development environment
Medical Device industry experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional engineering environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset
