The Engineering Integration Associate Internship provides current students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Power Industry, focusing on systems integration and product lifecycle management. Interns will collaborate with engineering teams to support software tool development and refine project requirements.
Collaborate with the collective Engineering teams to support the development and deployment of new software tools for product configuration and requirements management
Contribute to the development and refinement of project requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring clarity, completeness, and feasibility
Contribute to the development and refinement of product configuration models and ensuring software development meets the requirements agreed with stakeholders
Assist the Group Managers, Execution and Applications engineering with short-term and long-term work assignments and achieve the required results in a timely fashion and with high quality
Tasks may include schedule development & template creation, process improvement, database support, integration testing, and other common duties
Gain a basic understanding of Power Industry technology and how products are scoped and executed
Qualification
Required
Active student currently obtaining a bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering from a four-year College or University
The Ideal candidate should have an understanding of Requirements Management, Configuration Control, and the V-Model of systems development
Moderate knowledge in MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred
Basic understanding of a PLM and/or Project Management tool (Windchill, Codebeamer, Teamcenter, DevOps, Jira, and Jama for example) is a plus
