State Street is a global leader in providing investment management and financial services, and they are seeking an eFX Developer Co-Op to contribute to their Global Technology Services organization. The role involves developing high volume transactional systems and collaborating with various teams to deliver solutions in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Use your software engineering, technical skill, and reasoning abilities
Develop high volume transactional systems
Work in coordination with other teams, both business and technical
Work closely with business users and Development, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure teams
Design highly available distributed systems by leveraging your experience in Java programming and design
Receive and analyze requirements and propose suitable solutions that adhere to the team's methodology
Deliver successfully within an Agile environment as well as demonstrate the flexibility and adaptability to operate successfully in such an environment

Communicate with all parties involved including senior management, developers, architects, and end users, who may be based in different locations and time zones
Take ownership of small to medium projects and run them from inception to completion
Qualification
Required
Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation
Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization
Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement
