RTX is a company in the aerospace and defense industry seeking motivated Digital Technology Internship students to join their team in Puerto Rico. This internship offers hands-on experience across various Digital Technology domains, supporting initiatives in engineering, manufacturing, data, and enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
Support development, testing, and maintenance of digital solutions across various DT domains
Assist with software development, automation scripts, data analysis, dashboards, or system configurations depending on assignment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement efforts
Participate in team ceremonies and project reviews within an Agile or structured delivery framework
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process standardization activities
Learn and apply best practices in version control, cybersecurity awareness, data integrity, and system reliability
Engage in professional development activities within the PR DTC community
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Knowledge with Agile methodologies or structured project environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), data tools, or engineering software systems
Experience with Git or other version control tools
Basic programming knowledge in at least one language (e.g., Python, C#, Java, JavaScript) or exposure to technical tools/platforms
Foundational understanding of problem-solving and logical thinking
Interest in digital technologies, data, automation, cloud platforms, or engineering systems
Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
