Nokia manufactures mobile devices, network infrastructure, and location-based technology for businesses, and they are seeking a Deepfield Software Engineering Co-op/Intern. In this role, you will work on a team to build and test a business intelligence application, contributing to both frontend and backend development while gaining hands-on experience in software engineering.

Qualification
Required
Currently a candidate for a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with an accredited school in Canada
Solid understanding of Linux and development in a Linux environment; familiarity with networking concepts a plus
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable code
Participate in code reviews
Contribute to architecture / design discussions
Contribute to positive organizational growth
Triage, debug, and fix defects
Preferred
Some experience with a scripting language, Javascript and/or React experience is a plus
Some experience developing with both a compiled language and a scripting language; experience with Python a plus
