Nokia manufactures mobile devices, network infrastructure, and location-based technology for businesses. They are seeking a Deepfield Software Engineer Co-op to contribute to software development, participate in code reviews, and engage in architecture discussions.
Responsibilities
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable code
Participate in code reviews
Contribute to architecture / design discussions
Contribute to positive organizational growth
Triage, debug, and fix defects
Qualification
Required
Currently a candidate for a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with an accredited school in US
Solid understanding of development in a Linux environment
Familiarity with networking concepts
For frontend-focused applicants: Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript
Experience or coursework using React is a plus
For backend/test-focused applicants: Experience working with both compiled and scripting languages
Python experience preferred
